CUSTOMIZED
Every product we create can be customized by selecting the primary wood species of Walnut, Cherry, or Maple. Striping can be any of those same materials as well as a customized epoxy color. Check out the samples and create your own. Just let us know your choices via the CONTACT page.
PERSONALIZED
Add yout intials, the logo for your favorite team or car, or anything you can imagine. We will work with you on the design and location. Maybe you want to give a gift, but don't want your name front & center. Well, put it on the back!
QUALITY MATERIALS & WORKMANSHIP
Every cutting board is made with the edge grain of the wood species selected. End grain can also be used to give an elegant checkerboard-type pattern, but it can be a little more expensive. Face grain is not used as it can warp and create problems in the kitchen.

WELCOME
Thank you for visiting my website! I created Studio11 from a pure passion for woodworking with a touch of creativity. While working in the mortgage lending business for a few years, I thought about how a customized and personalized product would make a great closing and housewarming gift. Read "My Story" below to see how I got here.
MY STORY
I began my woodworking journey at a single-digit age while helping my dad with DIY projects in our garage. Several years later, as a freshman in high school, I took Wood Shop as an elective course. Although I didn't instantly realize it, the passion flame for woodworking, along with the smells of fresh-cut Walnut and Cherry, was lit.

Fast forward through 20 years that included baseball, college, graduate school, marriage, children and the rapid corporate ladder-climbing, I had the "opportunity" to leave a corporation. "You can take a package now by volunteering to leave or leave without one in a few months." Truly it was an offer I couldn't refuse. After a few months of travel, relaxation, and reflection, I decided to start a custom furniture business and simultaneously search for the next corporate gig. Although I sold roughly $125K of furniture, there were some life changes which required me to give up the dream and go back to the corporate world. That's what happens when you spend 35% on a woodworking business, 35% on job hunting, and 30% stressing about life and being unproductive. Every failure is an opportunity.

I built a few cutting boards and other items at the end of 2023 to give as gifts to friends and family. Soon after, one of those friends gave a custom board to the CEO of the company for whom she worked. The company, located in Houston, TX, turned around and ordered 24 large boards with an epoxy inlay of their corporate logo which will be used as employee gifts and customer appreciation. My hobby officially became a side-hustle and has been very exciting. Let's hope it grows beyond a side-hustle as I genuinely love making wood products and furniture just to see the smile on the faces of those who receive them!
